“Hollow Mountain was a breath of fresh air while visiting the Grampians over the Easter holidays. We practically had the place to ourselves from the moment we arrived in the carpark. I really enjoyed the more “untouched” feeling. There’s no handrails and very few manmade steps, it’s well and truly off-the-beaten-track. Make sure to pack a drink bottle and bring some snacks as you could easily spend a day here.”Comments

Amazing walk, bit slippery if you encounter rain. Some tricky bolder passages to negotiate. Would suggest not for the little ones (preschoolers), and hiking shoes a must if any chance of rain. Well worth the experience away from the crowds. Grade 4 hike for a reasonable level of fitness, and people take their RUBBISH home like good hikers should. Cleanest site of the Grampians .
